I cannot believe this bike has not been sold yet. If I had not bought my R1 I would have been all over this bike. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks bro. I wish it was gone, I need the extra space in my garage. Flawless bike, with extremely low miles, and a few add-ons.

Drag, I noticed that you've had this bike for sale on here for two months and it still hasn't sold yet. Just curious if you've got it listed on ebay, in Cycle Trader, or some other means of marketing it, etc. I realize that ebay and Cycle Trader costs money to sell stuff on/in, but if it sells its worth it the money you would pay versus posting it on here for free, plus you would obviously get more looks.

Have you considered lowering your asking price? If you really, really want to sell it you're probably going to have to come off of the price some more.

Its funny that you ask these questions because I have others ask me if I've sold my bike yet and of course I reply with no. I also mention that I've only got it listed on one site too.

Listing it on Ebay or Cycle Trader would be a good idea, but if it doesn't sell, what a waste of $100. Plus Cycle Trader doesn't offer run until it sells like automobiles. I think its like 2 or 3 weeks. Ebay is like 21 days.

I originally listed the bike for $9500. Since then I've dropped it $500. The bike is definitely worth $9000. I don't have a ton of money into the bike, but some. But you're right, I do need to list it elsewhere so that it has more viewers. I want this bike sold already.

I haven't even gotten offers from anyone here on the board. I did when I first listed it, but at that time, I wasn't willing to come down on the price.

i hate to be the 8th one to say it, esp in a forsale thread.. but that bike was worth less then 9k the day it rolled out the dealership door.
first off, its worth less then MSRP, because enough dealers sell it for less then that.. you should have been at 9.5k out the door.
plus this time of year, dealers are bottoming out prices, because they have quotas to meet.. its the end of the season, and the 08s are already announced.
add to that the fact that sportbikes to NOT hold their value.. even if they're in perfect condition, the market for them is waaaay different then cars. the people that buy them want the latest and greatest.. most are abused, and break.. however, those that are taken care of, like yours...... are also numerous because people buy them and dont ride them... they're so numerous infact, that they arnt worth much more then the abused bikes.
im not saying it to be a dick or anything like that.. im just saying, you're asking waay too much for it.
if it was me, id let it sit for the next 4 months, because its worth more selling it in spring when more people are looking for bikes, then its worth with the first few cold nights of fall and winter coming... actually, i take that back.. id RIDE it for the next 4 months (because im weird and dont mind the cold) then sell it in the spring...

I didn't get what was posted, but now that I do, it doesn't bother me. Your post caused no harm and don't find you to be picking on me. I don't find it necessary to bump it every day, but every few days is ok.

If someone wants to trade their white WS6 or Firehawk for my bike + cash, I'd go for that too. Otherwise, still for sale...

dragaholic-

I am a sponsor on gixxer.com. If you want, I can get you some more exposure selling the bike. Email me at matt@1morebike.com (i'm almost never on tech any more) and I'll help you get rid of it.

alright... I got your email, checked gixxer.com, and its down for maint.

Anyways, I listed it here also at http://www.1morebike.com/auctiondeta...LOW-mi&id=1065, as well as a few local sites. You should be getting some interest pretty soon! I'll also have it on gixxer before tonight is over!

best of luck..
