Well, if I was rich, I'd pay $10k for it. I like the 3rd Gens!

Not surprised, 91-92 Z28s are worth some money, that one is a tad high but not off by much.

Third Gens worth money in clean shape:

91-92 GTAs, Z28s
91-92 Trans Am, Z28s convertibles
Iroc-Z convertibles
1989 20th Anniv Trans Ams

Worth money regardless:

Any 1LE
Any 1991-992 Firehawks, havent seen one for sale in years, worth a lot of money.

Even when those cars were brand new, that same list above was the only group of 3rd gens that were desirable. I used to drool over a neighbor's red GTA. Regular Z28s and regular Z28 convertibles like this red one were ~yawn~ at the time. 5.0 Mustangs were far more popular during the same era.

3rd gen verts are really rare. Little high on the miles, but not too bad considering how old it is.

Peace,
Craig.

The performance and ease of mod ability just wasn't there with the TPI motors in comparison to the 5.0 stuff, their after market just dominated the TPI cars.

Yea just added that, their after market was huge since it was such a popular car and easy to make "fast," for time. Hell, even Ford got in it with their performance parts brand. GM is starting to come around pretty hard with the LSX stuff their putting on the market.

Turbo Trans Ams are nice cars, they have a decent following, but it was a one year car, maybe if they kept them upuntill 92 be a different story. The 91-92 Firehawks are insane though, so many people want one and with under, what 20 or so built, they are hard to find. SLP sold press car #1 for $30K back in 01 or 00, they also sold their green Firehawk with a 383 in it for around the same price, sure both those cars would be a lot more now.
