Friendly inspection station?

Friendly inspection station DFW? You get the gist. I have a 91 camaro 5.7 T-56 without 2nd gear. I don't think my route is going to work out. I'm running out of time on this now considering I got pulled over for the one that is on the window now. 11/06 I cannot get the car to pass without doing a substantial overhaul to the upper half of the motor. Considering anything else that can be done to it has been done. It has failed 5 various times this year alone. Heck it even had a oil change right before I left. Car only had 17 miles on the change when it was tested. I really have an expensive problem on my hands if I can't get this done in the next few days. I can't afford to have the other set of L98 heads I have rebuilt right now. If I get it inspected I can dismiss it for $10.00

where are you located exactly? North Ft. Worth, east, west, etc. I know a guy in Mansfield, which depending on location isnt that far. Its like a quick lube or something. And he doesnt check for ****. He looks at it basically does the exhaust thingy and then sends it through. Nothing else. Its off of Debbie Ln. off 287.
