Default Lost a great friend

I lost a great friend last night. His name was Blake. He was a fellow car buddy of mine, he owned a 2002 Harley F-150 with full bolt ons/whipple supercharger and was very active with the ricekiller car group. He had been in the hosptial for the past 2 weeks battling pneumonia and a rare disease the doctors had never seen before. After a roller coaster of events, he finally stabled up enough to move to Prespyterian in Dallas friday night. All went well, and he was doing great. All of us thought he was going to pull through. He was doing better than ever. Then, out of nowhere his heart stopped. The docotrs tried for an hour to revive him, but had no luck. He passed away last night. We love you man, and will greatly miss you.

Sorry to hear about yalls loss, that's terrible. Did the docs ever figure out what was going on? His original diagnosis and what caused his heart to stop suddenly?

They did figure out the disease, and had treated him for it. His lungs had collapsed last week but they got them back up. From what one of my best friends told me, who was best friends with him, is that the doctors think it was a blood clot that caused his heart to stop. He was only 20 years old.

I heard about it this morning from other RKC members. Sad thing to hear. I had met him only once, and very briefly at that, but he treated me like we had been buds for years and years. Just a great guy.
