where can i buy a key way?

Default where can i buy a key way?

I have a 350 crank and when i purchase a new balancer/damper. the key that came with the damper is too big. i've been told i cant just cut the key way. i need a key they fits a 350 crank, where can i get one?

Wow no one stepped up? A local hardware store should sell them in the hardware section where all the nuts and bolts are. In drawers. I worked for a street sweeping company for a while and we were always having to replace them due to the idiots abusing the freightliner trucks and not watching what they were doing. They may come a little long. All you do is cut it down. It wont hurt anything.

So what is the reason you can't cut it down? I assure you its not a balance issue...unless you just have not idea what your doing..then i can see it...Just cut it down and call it good.

mr gasket sells them, i think oreilly stocks them.

What idiot told you you couldn't cut it to fit? Either cut it or go to any auto parts store or Lowes/home depot they carry them too.
