454 cubic inches can absorb what most would think is a big cam. I am sure it might bang the ground as much as a slightly cammed 408 or a H/C LS1.

I am just taking a guess though. The 250/255 in the 500" LS2 I did here at the school idles like a factory car.

The heads are TFS 235's from Total Engine Airflow, TFS does not sell a 235 head.

Congrats on a killer build guys, enjoy!

WELL..... atleast ARD and SeanFreese represented the LSx crowed.

ARD ran a 10.13 last year... this year with alot more motor and a bit more nitrous Owen only mustered a 10.5........not bad for the first pass in his LSX 455 without dialing the car in.

and Sean had a chance to win it.... he ran a 9.3.... but the transbrake slipped and time started... then a car stalled in his lane at the top of the track. .... he did have the best MPH.... around 150 on that pass.

it's all in the details. A little time spent on cleaning it up and it will be one nice car.

And yes, they are good people. Been treating me great all week even though I have been over there 9349074 times bugging them and taking pics of my build.
