Im so sorry for your lost! I went through the same thing almost 2 years ago. My 35th SS LE was stolen and recovered within 24 hours. No motor, trans, hood, wheels, tires, Eradispeed rotors or spoiler. They tried to set it on fire, but I guess they got scared off before it burned to the ground.

I have wanted to get another one but dont want to take the chance of another one getting stolen.

I hope you the best with finding a new one.

I know im kinda scared getting another car. hell im scared for the '02 Firehawk i have parked outside. The C6 wheels were taken off the car due to a ton of construction here in the Rio Grande Valley. Im kinda glad i had the stockers on there.

Wow...this is disgusting. I can't believe people do this. And apparently they can pull it off within a half hour...sick.

Sorry for your loss man.

Note to Self: Stay the hell out of Texas! (No offence fellas, but if I do go back there again, I'll be driving a freaking rental)

Sorry for your loss man...I grew in Houston, and fortunately no longer live there, but while I lived there car thieves tried to steal my H/C/I 94GT. I had gone to the movies, and upon returning to the parking lot. I find that the car had been broken into, all of my **** stolen from inside, **** stains even stole MSD6AL mounted on the firewall, column broken etc. A friend of mine had his GN stolen from this same movie parking lot about a year before, and I just had this gut feeling, so before going into the movie theater, I removed the rotor from distributor, and I am glad I did. Now I have a lojack on every vehicle and purchase, I just hope it actually works... For anyone that lives in H-Town, I am referring to the Tinseltown off the tollway close to Westheimer..

Cinemark has a huge issue with car theift, there security sucks and the cops tend to not patrol at all.

Yes, it exists. You ever see the car thief sting operations? Cops outfit "bait" cars with all kinds of gear. One feature is a remotely triggered kill switch for the ignition.

I hope they find these f***s, choke them to death with their own severed d***s, and decorate their dead ears using their ********* as ear rings. These people should die horrible deaths while their friends watch.

Is that too harsh?

LOL by this time, the guy has had time to make a claim, wait a few weeks, collect his full coverage insurance check he had, buy another car and almost get it taken by the time this got ressurected.

I think this is what happends when people finally use the search but the search brings up any words "stolen vehicle" but doesnt delete it or mask it by date, it's not their fault, just a little on the not paying attention to the date side.
