Drag after reading all this ****. I would have charged you more than the asking price knowing all the hand holding and whining you were going to do.

I am glad you have seen the light and are willing to take the seats back where you picked them up for the refund. That was the original resolution anyway it just took 80 posts for you to get it thru your thick skull.

I gotta say. Theres times when I think Drag is just crying/complaining/bitching. BUT. I think he was pretty much "tricked/forced" into buying these seats. I understand his reasoning behind taking the seats even though they didnt match the discription. When someone drives a couple hrs to pick up seats. They dont want to come back empty handed. I know that I've boughten parts before that after I drove the ~hr to pick them up, they werent any where close to the discription. But then i weigh the positives/negatvies of taking the part/leaving it. And often times, I buy it even though its not what I expected. Everyone has different opinions on what they would have done. But im sure many of us would have done what drag did and took the seats.

By the way. I dont think that the parents drove 250 miles "FOR" drag. They were going down anyways. Some of you guys make it sound like they 250miles just for the seats. When tahts not the case at all. The parents helped out Drag AND parker. I think some of the $ should be refunded to drag. Its a PITA to waste more gas/time to give the seats back. Just give him some $ and be done with it. The seats do look like ****. I've even seen some of you guys say that drag should just drive them back to dallas? WTF. He would end up only making about ~$250 from his original 350 after all the fuel etc.

Also, corny is right. Once you hit the "refund" button. All money/including fees is refunded. so giving ~340 back is stupid/gay.

I've taken everything that has been said here into consideration, not just throwing it out the door standing by what I think and what I think only. I am viewing this on both sides.

So here it is...

I paid for a set of seats BEFORE I saw them. I took the guy's word, giving him the TRUST. I show up, give them a quick glance, saw flaws, but took them anyway. I didn't want to bitch about this or that or say I didn't want them to complete strangers. Plus, they did me a favor by bringing them to Houston. They weren't involved in the deal other than keeping them for me to pick up. I'm sure they weren't aware of all the details.

The guy already lied to me about the price and the condition of the seats, why on earth would I decline the sale, leaving them there, and TRUSTING him again when I get home that he'll refund me the money? Think about that.

He already lied to me, why should I trust him to refund me my money?

If it takes me driving back out there to get my money back, then I'll have to get over the fact about using my fuel and time. That was just part of the deal. However, I am entitled to a FULL refund, because I am NOT responsible for HIS Paypal fees.

However, I have offered to fix them to the best of my ability saving us both the hassle, time, fuel, etc. with a partial refund because this is out in the open now and everyone know's the true condition of the seats. I highly doubt he will ever sell them and if he does, he's not going to get **** for them. He's better off just refunding me some money back. But if he just wants the seats back, I have no problem with that. But I REFUSE to keep them for $350.

He was dishonest about the seats regardless, its there in the pictures. They're not worth $350.

We are suppose to be adults here. We are suppose to be board members that help each other out. We're suppose to be on the same team. Put the negative feelings that you have for me, the view you have on me for my past, and realize that I was wronged.

Hate to say it.... but I agree with Drag on this one. Tony, I dont think it was necessary for him to bitch to complete strangers about it. One would assume that Parker or whoever would of realized that the seats where not in good condition... unless one was a complete blind fool. I dont want to spend the time

I feel that Drag was obviously wronged on those seats but it makes sense that he should at least drive the seats back to where he picked them up from to at least get his refund. As for Parker TX, if you represented those seats as flawless then unfortunately that speaks volumes about your integrity and what you will do to make a lousy buck.

he usually has it comming.... but not this time!

He sells used crap for what they cost new. he starts useless non texas or automotive threads.... and bitches alot. so all in all ... mods dislike him.

Personally I could care less.... yet I do find this thread amuzing in the fact that he is right. If someone inconvenienced someone else to deliver a product... the last person I would bitch to is the delivering parent and not the original seller. I would take the issue up later.... especially considering that he is a "mod on tech"

People that brought the seats are another members parents (Stangman). Like I said before as well as others, I sure as hell bet THEY had Parker's phone number and he should have called right then and there.

If not, don't take the seats. But bottom line is return them and end this.

Peace,
Craig.

some of you just don't know all the facts. The "parents" in this case aren't strangers to LS1TECH, BOTH of them have active user accounts here and have been here for years. BOTH of them are active f-body enthusiasts in the Houston area. Their son (Stangman) is also an active member here and a moderator on one of our other sites. These aren't "strangers", they know Dragaholic and how lame he is.

You will never convince me that he didn't accept the deal by taking those seats with him. If you don't like the deal, DON'T TAKE THE MERCHANDISE. Pretty simple, that is how it works.
