The Academy parking lot would be better. I might be able to make it if the car is back together. Hopefully it will be this weekend.

Hope to see you there... I've been an admirer of your car for quite sometime, it'll be cool to see it in person.

I drove by the Academy parking lot this morning on my way to work and they are still working in the area and it looked pretty crappy with stuff all in it. I will keep an eye open to see if they are gonna clean it up soon, if not then we will keep looking for a good spot.

I will hopefully have my SS back by then so I can cruise it too and will have my girl in her white TA and probably my other friend in her red '67 camaro.

Of course count me in Joe!

I dont mind doing any speaking once we are all out there. I can go get a bunch of the "hello my name is....." stickers. That seemed to work pretty well before.

Does everyone want to just cook what ya brought? Or maybe like an everyone pitch in and a few of the BBQ badass's make it happen?

The biggest thing for this one is just going to keep your speedo under 75 mph. Its a cruise/gtg, lets keep it that way. No tickets, no trouble. If someone is pulled over its because something broke. We want this one to be something you could bring your family to.

Ill get this posted on some of the other forums too.

I am sorry man, I will stop. Just proud of what I got accomplished over the weekend. I worked my butt off instead of being lazy. Are you going with the 5" tach and speedo? I went for a small drive yesterday. Its nice to have a working speedo. My car only has 15 miles on it. Should be a great selling point, right?

hehe it was just a figure of speech . however i did go with the 5"tach and 200 mph silver speedometer. once it arrives ill do the install. and then put in the rear disc brake upgrade. really needs the vintage air a/c.

I know man. Just figured I would motivate you a bit. I wanna go have a 2nd gen cruise. I drove around a few minutes yesterday with no ac and was sweating my *** off. I am curious to see how this hotrod air setup works. 200mph speedo? Damn, mine is only 160. Looks like I gotta go get a 230 speedo now! What rear brakes you putting on it? I have a turbo ta rear disc setup that is going on mine soon. Of course after my next project. Can you guess what it is? Second pic will give it away, its hiding behind the steering wheel, lol

You could pull that 72 with your 4th gen, lol. You could get someone else to drive and you could ride in the 72 on the trailer and make motor noises. Vroom, vroom, lol. Did you really get a turbo ta disc setup?
