All I have to say is that I am extremely upset that UT's pass defense is in the SAME bad shape as it was last year.

it looked bad because they were frustrated....our defense gave up THREE 3rd and longs because of penaltys, WTF, that **** is insane

TCu is going to be a different story and TCU will have to play the game of their life without Blake or Brown (who went to my high school :mamoru: )

Regaurdless of Frustration, that is something they must put behind them to not choke/win the BIG games.

ya, but it's hard to prepare for a team that you have no tape on and comes out and throws every trick play at UT, we have TCUs game plan on tape and we can prepare for it, that's the difference

Some real assclowns in here.

Texas will be fine. They got off to a shaky start just like most teams did in week 1. It's hardly a good way to judge how the rest of the season will go.

The Aggies are definately a better team than last year (McGee put on 20 lbs. this off-season. 3 1,000 yard rushers anybody?!) but their schedule is brutal. They play a ton of big games in opposing stadiums in consecutive weeks. If Fran and the Aggies can win 8 games this season it will be Fran's biggest accomplishment yet.

Blake will be there. A&M was rotating ALOT of new guys in and out of the game last week to see what they had, so untill we play some high level comp. Im not gonna complain about the defense, but I will admitt giving up 400 yards sucks. BTW did you guys know Montana State played App. State last year in the Div II title game, pretty good game too.

LOL, you can rest assured knowing Texas has film on Arkansas State.

The more likely assumption is that the coaches spent the off season trying to find ways to stop the Oklahoma's and the Texas Tech's and not the Arkansas State's.

Tech is always the game I fear the most every year. The Horns and Sooners may never admitt it but since Fran came in (other then the 77-0 debacle) we have played both OU and UT very good. Tech just has the kinda offense that if you slip even a little they can jump all over you and put you down. But I did like how SMU was able to run a little bit on Tech.

"First you give some credit to Arkansas State because we thought they would be good. They changed a lot of things they were doing coming in against us, and that usually happens especially in the first ballgame."

"Well, it is from a technical standpoint. TCU has a lot better players than Arkansas State, but at least we have some film on TCU. (Corey) Leonard played the last four games as the quarterback for Arkansas State and they changed a lot of their package. You know when you start out with a naked-boot throwback in the first play of the game that Arkansas State is probably going to come in and throw everything at you and not have anything to lose. We’ll know more about TCU and where they are, but they’re a tough football team and a very confident football team, and it will be a great challenge for us."

LOL, your the one talking about how they bad no game film how their trick plays worked so well. How about you go tell Mack Brown to take all those top recruits he gets and not almost lose to some POS middle school from Arkansas. Every thread you get in you try to act like you know everything, and you DONT. Just admit it, your coach sucks. Vince Young won those games not Mack. And now that he actually has to coach again and he can't just let some freak athlete run all over the feild your gonna drop down to where you used to be with Chrissy Sims and Major Applewhite, both of which are better that Cart McCoy. I bet you don't even remember the days where "Mack would never win the big one", and Greg Davis was all but fired. Well get used to it because those days are here again, lol.

When things are all right in the world of college football, as they are now, the Texas vs. aTm series over a ten year span will average about 7-3 or 8-2 in favor of Texas. The Ags had their day that day and things will return to normalcy starting this year. Kyle Field is no longer that difficult of a place to play. I'm not calling for an easy win for the Horns there this year, but I will be very surprised if UT doesn't win that game.

Sprayed, you and Slow don't need to start this kind of crap again in one of these threads. Everything has been going fine up until now. Lets keep it civil and at an adult level. If you can't do that then please refrain from posting on this topic.
