Need help with my motor!!
As a few of you know, my motor popped a few months ago. Hell, I cant even remember exactly when it was. I just remember that it wasnt so damn hot out when it happened. Anyway, I found out that the motor had been running on 13:1 compression and for a daily driver that is not very good at all. When the motor was built, the heads that I was planning to use were not CC'd and therefore the wrong pistons were used. Well, after the piston pretty much melted, GForce was hired to disassemble it and we originally thought that it was a head problem. Once the piston was seen, the builder and the original company that was hired by me were contacted. I got a prompt response from the awesome builder who picked up the motor and heads from GForce. He used his own money to hone out the cylinder, replace the pistons and supporting mods and have the heads fixed.
Both he and I have numerously contacted the original company who gave me a one year no power adder warranty and the old owner who still works there agreed to pay for the fixing. I have the email saved which he stated that he would take care of things. Well, now it seems that he has gone AWOL and hasnt returned any calls by either myself or the builder. My dad has made a few calls with no response either.
I cannot get my motor back until H-E pays the builder for fixing it. Anyone have any educated suggestions on what needs to be done without resorting to lawyers and such. I heard that he has deep pockets and dont want things to get to that.
I just want my damn car back on the road!
Once this gets completed, GForce and the builder will get the credit that they deserve as they have been great not only in tech support but in customer service!

this ought to be a fun ride.
Come on guys, help me get back behind the wheel of my ride.
Perhaps contact him (a phone call followed by a letter delivered certified mail with a return receipt) and say you really don't want to get attorneys involved, but you need this paid for as soon as possible and will seek counsel from your attorney if it is not handled in a timely manner.

Good luck with your motor.
That isnt what I meant. I meant that everyone seemed to have an opinion on that but none on this. I agree, I stayed out of that thread as it was only up to him and his woman but this one kindof affects everyone of us that is on the site. No one came here to discuss religion, only cars.
