Default Paying the car off

Finally paying the ************ off. I am sending them $1900. It will be nice not to have a $400 car payment.

I am thinking of all the diff things I could do to my car. $400 a month adds up. Turbo? S/C? 12 Bolt? I should be smart and save it.

those were my plans exactly. but unfortunately, i found plenty of different ways to spend that extra money each month and it wasn't on the car.

I know the feeling man, it's nice to not have to make a car payment. I put in over $7500 a couple months ago to pay mine off. I had been saving to pay it off and finally was able to do it. Not I'm looking at replacing one car payment with another...

I still owe around 9k on mine. I'm going to send double payment and save up to finish that sucker. I'm tired of paying 406 every month. Sad thing is though i want to buy another car! I probably wont though. I WILL add some mods to the SS. After that save up for a house! Damn I'm getting old

Congrats! I have been car payment free for 3 years. Thing is I went and got a truck 2-3 weeks ago that I posted here. Well, after having the truck for a few days, I took it back to Carmax, full refund no questions asked. I just kept 2nd guessing myself when I had it whether it was a smart decision or not. It took about 15% of my monthly earnings without putting in OT at work. Still, I had just come off my disgust of paying interest over the years. Soon I will just be paying for my bike and studen loans. I honestly dont think I will ever finance anything again except for a house. Money goes so much farther when you pay cash and gives you great piece of mind. Dont know if Im just too cheap or gotten smarter about it.
