McGee just does not have down field vision, he has came so accustomed to the option it is not possible against big opponents. This is why he always gets sacked, he is fast but not mobile in the pocket. You can't just expect to run the ball against a run defense like miami. If A&M had a deep threat they would be a huge factor b/c of their running game.
Hopefully next coach will not be labeled as a "rebuilding" coach, that is not what A&M needs, they just need to suck it up and pay for a good proven coach.

Miami played a hell of a game both ways give em credit!
Everyone's right about Fran not being able to call a vertical pass down field! Damn he pisses me off with some of the dumbass decisions he makes!
I.E 4th and 6 in the 3rd quarter on Miami's 45 he punts the ball!
Then at the end of the 3rd on 4th and 16 about the same field position he goes for it!
God Fran is such a dumbass sometimes!

The ags seemed like a bunch of babies off the field too. Lane was shown on camera swatting the kid trying to give him water. What an *******. It wasn't that guys fault he wasn't getting the ball. All the late hits / penalties were also sad to see. I would thought they would have been more composed than that...

a winning season is better than a losing one.
a national championship is better than none.
2 bcs bowl appearances are better than toilet bowls.
at least our students aren't classy enough to throw horseshit @ other students.
this is just in the past what.... 5-6 years.
funny that people bring up the "jail" incident, but yet we still win.... aTm sees none of these problems and get blown out by unranked teams... derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

My point was that the INDIVIDUAL made a bad choice in UT's case.
In A&M's case, it was the SCHOOL that made the bad choice.
You are faulting the UNIVERSITY for what the INDIVIDUAL did, but are forgetting about aTm's past and how the UNIVERSITY broke the rules. aTm just got off "probation" 3 years ago for breaking NCAA's laws.
If I were to follow your logic, the Atlanta Falcons should be in a world of hurt right now... or the Titans (Pacman)... or the Bears (Tank... who now plays for the Cowboys)... or the Cowboys (remember Michael Irving's little dance with the white ****???).
