TEXAS JAM DFW: Power Competition 9/29/07
Weather is clear and cars are ready for battle so it is time to strike while the iron is hot for the Texas Jam this weekend on Saturday, September 29th, 2007. There is ALOT going on in DFW that weekend show so it should be a blast!
Schedule:
Houston Caravan: Leaves Houston Saturday morning at 8:00am sharp. Please see this thread for details. I will hand out packets in the morning with directions, important phone numbers, addresses of all the important locations, and more.
Make hotel reservations in advance here: Best Western. 3920 Boat Club Road
Lake Worth, Texas. 76135-3201. Phone: 817-238-1199. Contact: If she is there, speak to Katie. Group Code: "the Texas Jam." We have a block some rooms. Room rates should be $69.00.
For attendees already in the DFW area, BDJS Racing (see address in picture above) will host a morning meet at their shop before heading over to Dynosaur Performance for the competition. At 3pm we will strap down the first car at Dynosaur Performance. 5 cars from the Dallas/Fort Worth area and 5 cars from Houston will alternate spinning the dyno. Highest cumulative power wins the competition and trophies. This year we have one slot reserved on the DFW dyno roster for Austin. The primary sponsor for the event is Dynosaur Performance, who is letting all of the contenders spin their cars for F-R-E-E. In addition, Dynosaur Performance has reconfigured their dyno to read 1,500rwhp just for this event. You can expect to see a wide diversity of cars contending for their hometowns ranging from Vipers, Corvettes, Camaros, Supras, and cars with wicked motor swaps. Additionally, we will give out Texas Jam t-shirts for F-R-E-E while they last.
We will crown the winning team around 8ish and head out for a group dinner and night meet after that. Sunday morning after breakfast we can roll out back to Houston.
This is the only event of its kind so make sure to come out and support your hometown heros. Pill up, boost up, and get ready for a gross display of power at the Texas Jam 07' Power Competition.
THE JAM FORUM.

Troy: Thanks bud!!!!! Have a good time rippin on the Sunday cruise.
I am sure alot of people wanted to see the t/a come back and spin over 1k this year. If you cannot come out to spin the rollers, come out for support. See if you can hitch a ride up with Mr. Icon or something. We had alot of Houston locals come up to watch you last year - come see the contenders defend the title this time around.
This year, we have Inspector12 representing the LSx's this time around and he should do well.
