o ok then you could just sell em to someone else and then buy LTs its your choice tho. look on craigslist or the parts for sale section , group purchase if you want the best deals.

well since they're being installed now, my plan was to just drive it with the shorties till i get heads/cam, or other motor work... and i'll still be able to afford other small chassis mods i've been looking to do in the meantime. ie. rear & front sways, panhard bar, sfc's..

heard shorties will actual take away from your throttle response, mids are okay, i got some mac ceramic mids for $50, you can get pacesetter uncoated LT's for $285 and unless your in florida or driving through water, ceramic isnt gonna make much a diff but the look. Im getting LT's, shorties are a waste, they do better on LT1's.

I would say yes only because you really won't notice much. Honestly though I speak from what others have told me when I was in search of headers but if you were to look at them and compare them with regular headers it kind of makes since as to how they wouldn't help much.

dont even waste your time with shorties. dont waste your time with mids either. 01-02 stock manifolds flow almost as good as mids. go LT's or dont do anything at all.

since your a 2000 it might do a little bit

on a 01/02 it would do basically nothing

i would have picked up some 01-02 manifolds for like 50 bucks instead of shorties

Good decision not installing the shorty headers on... For everyone deciding if they should get long tubes or shorty headers, Just think.. Would you rather have a long dick or a short dick... That's one of the easiest ways I can put it.
