Tire and Rim question

I posted a similar question on the tires section but I figured the Texas section would probably know anyway. I want to buy some 18 x 10.5 replica wheels that have a 58mm offset. Will these fit my 02 SS? If so how much moding or BFHing will I need to do? I want them to fit totally in the fenderwell. I AM Hispanic but I don't need to let everyone know by looking at my wheels sticking out. Thanks

i dont see why they wouldnt just fit the way they are, I had the Z06 wheels on my camaro 18x10.5 and didnt stick out, my 17x11s dont stick out either.

i am running 18x10.5's on the front and back. they sit inside the fender on both. may get buy without the hammer on the back.

EDIT: If they're the same diameter/width front and rear. He wants to be able to rotate them. He didn't want to purchase them until his current tires wore out, but maybe I can convince him.

When I got my C6 Z06 wheels, things barely fit. I had to "massage" the inner part of the fender with a mallet to make room for the 305 series tire in the rear. I think we talked about that on Friday night. My outer fender wells never had to be touched.

On the inside, I basically just pushed the body inwards and then went back with some black spray paint to cover up any spots that were noticeable.
