he wanted to go from like a 15-20 but i shift into 2nd gear at 22mph
...we both agreed that a dig wouldn't be good for 2 reasons:
1) he would get left at the line HARD (refer to sig)
2) his tires and clutch are bad
but still, i know if ya'll would have beat the STi the videos would have been up before this thread was created...but since the LX lost 3 times in a row, i doubt those videos will ever surface

ok, i just got done running the Vette again...we went from a 15-95 roll...i shut down at his bumper because of the road we were on...let's just say it was SHORT, HAHA !!!
video is uploading right now...we had both digital cameras going...i'm waiting for him to call me so i can meet him, grab the DVD and then uplaod it on youtube...my video is in the process of finalizing on youtube

2001 C5 Vette, R1 Cam, 3" cutouts, Z06 intake manifold, race gas...
i shut it down at 95mph when i was on his bumper due to the road being short...FYI, i shifted into 4th gear when he was ahead by half a car...

HAHA !!! it's a Nikon S9...i bought it for the wifey about 9 months ago...we hardly ever use it since we got the Nikon D200 but we grabbed this one cuz it takes video...
i'm impressed with both cars...how well my stock turbo STi did against a cammed Vette, and how well he did down low...

if we would have went to 110-115 he would have put about 2.5 cars on me...
like i said, it was hard to find a good mph for both of our cars since my gears go real short...he admitted that he didn't want to run from a dig cuz of the way i get out of the hole...he saw my sig and said "hell no", HAHA !!!

nah, in that sig i was running the Cobb Stage 2 off the shelf map (sucks and runs entirely too rich)...i have since then added an intake, meth and have been properly tuned...i was barely making about 280hp on THAT run...
check this video out...
my STi vs. LS1 WS6 with long tube headers, exhaust, pulleys, and a 150 shot of nitrous...i even set him out a car at the light and still win ...on the first run i missed 3rd gear and he ended up pulling me...eh, no biggie...i think his name is Gus and i've seen him post here
