LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech's Mike Leach talks often about how players need to play through pain as the season wears on.
Now he'll have to walk his talk.
Leach said Monday he broke a bone in his right arm when he hit the pavement after falling from his bicycle on Friday.
Leach said he got a flat tire and tried to fill it with enough air to make it to his destination, but "it proceeded to run out of air. I took a routine turn, then went into a slide, so then it broke the arm."
Leach, who wore a wrap around his elbow area to his weekly gathering with the media Monday, had cuts and scratches on each palm and abrasions to his right hip and shoulder.
"It's just a mess," he said. "Went from a one-and-a-half week deal to six. It's a nuisance."

I think the game will be decided on who's defense shows up. Tech hasn't seen a running game like A&M's and A&M hasn't seen a passing game like Tech's. I think it will be a high scoring game. It doesn't matter how long A&M holds onto the ball, it doesn't take Tech long to score. I think it will come down to the last possesion. It will be a 40 something game.
I think the reason that Iowa St. was able to somewhat limit Tech's offense was due to Cyclones head coach Gene Chizik, who ran Texas' defense the two previous years and did a very good job of shutting Tech down. His familiarity and experience had a lot to do with that.
A&M has not seen another passing team like Tech this year and will not be able to overcome the avalanche coming down hill at them. Sure the Ags running the ball to try and keep the ball out of Tech's hands is the smart thing to do, but when A&M gets behind too much and they're forced to have to pass the ball to play catch up they're in big trouble with McGee. Here is where Aggie DC Gary _arnell is going to be exposed.

Just figured I point this out, Miller constantly talks about how I care more about Texas losing than A&M winning. But at the same time he starts a thread soley based on the fact he thinks Texas Tech will beat A&M. Weird....
