My experience at Wendy's tonight
I waited at least 5 minutes for someone just to take my order. I was the only person in the dining room.
"For here or to go?"
For here.
I want a large number two.
"You want a large chili?"
No. A large number two.
"Number two?"
Yes.
"Small, medium, or large?"
Large.
After I pay, he hands me a large drink. I never told him what drink I wanted.
What is this? I didn't tell you what drink.
"It comes with a drink."
I didn't tell you what drink, though.
"What do you want?"
Tea.
On my tray, he put whatever the other drink was. I left it on the table when I left.

i hear ya....i know it is just fast food, but still....people that work at fast food places seem to be getting worse & worse nowadays. i'd guess that at least 7/10 times i order something in the drive-thru, they **** up the order.
one time, i was in Little Rock, AR, and we had just got through watching the 4th of July fireworks show. we went to a Taco Smell nearby and ordered our food. nothing special, just the standard order. it took them 10 minutes. come to find out, that as we were leaving, we were walking by the place where they read the monitor for the orders, then make the food that's on the screen.....the guy COULDN'T READ!! he had to have someone else read him what the monitor said so he would know what to prepare.....
how do you even get hired for a job, if you can't even read to fill out the application form?

I feel ya, I eat at Taco C often and I swear they forget to make my food about half the time. Then it's the same line over and over, "Hey man you still haven't got your food yet? Let me get started on that for ya!"
Takes about 20 mins total, 5 minutes if they make it when I order it.

Fast food is pretty bad around here, although I think everyone in this town is mentally retarted. I dont mind them messing up my order when im not in a hurry cus i know that I will get some food for free, but when im in a hurry that pisses me off.

I would have asked for the manager.
I hate it when I special order something (like cutting the mayo or no veggies) and it doesn't get done because there's a damn language barrier. When your job is to take orders where 99% of the customers will be speaking to you in English, it's probably best you know the language...same goes for the cooks.

I refuse to go to Wendy's. If someone else is going, I may let 'em get me something because their montery chicken sandwiches are badass, but I'd probably kill someone if I had the same service I've had there in the past. They have got to be the only people in the world who can "mistake" "chicken sandwich" with "mountain dew".
I love it when they just stick the bag out of the window and don't even look at you.
Anyone ever wonder why there's 10 people working there and 1 car in the parking lot?????

I have the worst luck with Wendy's... Everytime I go there, they mess something up. I will ask for cheese and extra tomato on a burger and instead, they won't give me any tomatoes or cheese at all but they'll give me extra pickles, and they put so much mayo on it that I could spoon it off my burger. And a few times, they have given me cold french fries. The whole ordeal just makes me lose my appetite.
