Is A&M too cocky?
I'm kinda glad tech is winning. I was starting to get annoyed by all the aggie smack going around (and not just in this thread, but all over htown). They seemed to think they had some kind of legitimate shot at the big 12 title. All I could do was just laugh to myself.

I vote that the aggie posters (mainly just the ones talking trash) be banned just for a fews days so we don't have to hear them whine.
oh. I see. :Oo
by the way, I have seen only 5 vick em shirts.
Oh, and for icing on the cake, it was nice to pick up $500 on Tech -10 in the process. Cha-ching!!

Jafatsky's guaranteed win didn't exactly pan out like he thought it would and that Randy Gorger dude didn't bring his "A" game, lol.
na na na na! na na na na! hey hey hey! goodbye!
this is a pretty assinine statement. I'm no Aggie fan but it's pretty easy to see you're not being the good fan you claimed to be when you made fun of the Aggie fans for making threads about Texas' 2 losses in a row.
Tech is averaging over 600 yards of offense a game, and the Aggie defense held them to only 500 (LOL!). They missed a few opportunities to intercept passes as well, one which would have gone for 6.
The Ags gave up 108 yards of rushing on 29 carries, which isn't bad for the Aggies considering they sold out to stop the pass and generally were in formations that only called for 3 lineman.
Tech didn't do to A&M what they haven't done to everybody else this year, which was to put up ungodly offensive numbers and struggle again on defense. The Aggie coaches lost this game by not keeping the ball in the hands of McGee, Lane, and Goodson. They started to throw the ball and when that stuff didn't work Tech ran up the score in a hurry. Had they continued to pound the ball in all directions the game could've turned out much different.
Crabtree had a good game, and was able to break a lot of big runs on short completions, but the Aggies did keep him out of the endzone. You really gotta credit the Tech coaches by running the ball like they did. The two way attack was just too much for the Aggie defense, but they certainly weren't exposed as you suggested. Nobody thinks the Aggies have an outstanding defense, and like I said earlier, Tech didn't do anything to A&M they haven't done to everybody else they've played.
But all-in-all it was a typical Aggie performance. Lots of hype and talk, followed up by a performance that leaves much to be desired. It's pretty safe to say we'll see more mediocrity from the Aggies for the next 3-4 years while they bring in a new coach and try to get that ball rolling. It's easy to see that Coach Fran is all but out after this year unless A&M wins out and wins their bowl game, which won't happen.
