I'm watching the bid....I talked to the seller, previous owner curbed the back wheel, water damage to interior (supposedly rain), new clutch ( one too many burnouts?), Fiberglass fender and door need replacing (thief broke in with crowbar), SLP painted hood and wing need new paint, about 2k in body work for pass. side, pass. headlight doesn't work.

I'm the guy on HPD - I'm watching the bid, if it stays below 6k i'll save it. The bid seems to be getting bumped by deadbeats though...

Anyway. Somebody called and talked to the guy a while back, the guy who owns it now bought it like that with the intent of bringing it back to its former glory, but its a project that never left the ground for him.

Good deal if you owned a body shop, car looks like it needs $5-6K in just body work alone. I just don't under stand how some one could trash a car so fast. Make a good race car once you got the body clean.

Yeah, I've been watching it myself, if you don't go after it, I might. 5-7k wouldn't be bad to have a nice project car. Hell even if you put $5,000 into it, it's still relatively a good deal.

I see a huge money pit, lol! But it will be a nice car once someone puts enough money into it to get it fixed up.

Word, I think the amount it would take to get that thing to be nice again, ou would probably have more in to it then its worth.

Possibly. That car will probably be worth it later on down the road though. With the low production of the 10th Hawks, I can see those cars being comparable to the 10th Anniversary or maybe even Super Duty Trans Am 2nd gens in 20 years. Now is a good time to buy it while you can still get OEM parts relativley easliy. Not sure how hard it is to get the SLP stripes for that car now though, that will probably be the hardest part. At least the hood and spoiler are intact.

If the floor isn't rusted, it might be worth it.

SLP stirpes are pretty easy to comeby, just call SLP, from what I see, They keep their decal kits in stock....saw the whole decal kit on their site not too long ago if im not mistaken

Somebody paid $8150 for that POS!! I guess if you're in the auto body business you could get it back in shape and still have something worthwhile, but from the way the interior looked, that thing sat with the tops off for a long time! The electronics are probably screwed, even if it was only rain and not completely under water. That thing's gonna get worse before it gets better!!

Note to self. If you want to steal a Firehawk on E-bay, don't post a link on LS1Tech. You guys can be your own worst enemy sometimes...
