Steve Saleen did do the modifications to the car. The 5th gen body was grafted to a GTO frame.

The only "Ford" influence was the fact that Steve Saleen works with Ford quite a bit. He has recently stated that he wants to start modifying the new Camaro when it comes out.

Yes, it was built by Saleen but it had an LS2 in it.

You have Knight Rider 1 & 2 but you dont have any Steve McQueen movies especially Bullit... Argueably one of the best car chase scenes of all time!

T.V's fine. 52" 1080 DLP and a 47" 1080 LCD. Even with my brothers 65inch I'm still not a fan of wide screen movies. Saving for the 72" LCD beacuse I believe every man deserves a giant television.

I thought it was a GTO body like you said, but with an LS1 in it? There was a link to back up my statement here in the 09 Camaro forum. I agree with the whole Saleen thing. Ford had nothing to do with it just Saleen.

Kool. They are selling two, two disc sets. One includes a prequel the movie and the other is xtra stuff as normal. If anyone gets the prequel post it up.

The rest of the movie isn't that good but just fast forward to the car chase. You will know it when you see it! I think its almost an hour into the film.

I have it on old school vhs and I have it right at the end of the chase so all I have to do is rewind it a little. Sad thing is now I dont have a VCR so I need to go find it on DVD myself.

LOL! Yeah I've almost forgot how to work one. Ck Ebay, I've been buying a few dvd movies from there from the 80's and early 90's. There is a company ToyManilla that coverts VHS only movies into CD-ROM. The quality is amazingly good. Only thing that sucks is it takes like 3 weeks to ship for the Philliphines (Customs)

Weird my DVD takes 3 weeks to make it into the country, but a person of illegal nature takes 5mins. Food for thought.

not sure if anywhere else had it, but Target had it for $24 and it was a 2 disc edition with behind the scene stuff. great extras plus the DVD case transforms into Optimus Prime!! A little cheesy, but cool nonetheless. The behind the scenes stuff was worth it. It really explains Michael Bay's role in it all
Thats the one I got. Its pretty cool. The case transforms into a standing Optimus Prime.

Very true. I only buy movies that I really want to have the originals. Which is not many. I have so many burned movies thanks to the help of DVD shrink and any DVD.

I just bought it. It's definitely the best movie in a few years, right behind "Shooter".

Shooter is definitely a must buy.

DVD Shrink, GrabIt, AstraWeb all worth it. Few minutes of downloading = Money Saved!
