Whats up with EBAY scammers???????

Whats up with EBAY scammers??????? I've tried to buy two or three different cars this week and all have there cars at a shipping company and all are out of town and need to sell the car now. I've told them I will come and pick the car up and then I never get a email back. Kind of pissing me off because there badass cars. But gzzzz you have to be careful these days. One guy needed a $9000 deposit to hold the car for two weeks until he gets back and then the scond guy wanted $4800 for the samething. But they also said they were going to use EBAY as a third party member. So do they make a fake site and then send me to it or how does it work. And same thing about this summer on a boat I wanted. DAMMIT

ebay is actualy pretty legite i have ordered at least 2000 worth of parts , and my friends has ordered multiple turbo parts from there. If the person scams you ebay will actualy pursue legal action themsleves and get your money back

They can send you a fake Ebay or PayPal site that takes you username and password and just sends it to them, then they have your account info. Be careful and read about how to prevent scams.

did you notify ebay that you stuff did not come in? If you make a claim with ebay it shuts down the persons account and ebay will actually take the money directely from the persons bank account. When you are a seller on ebay you must give ebay all of that information
One time; my ebay user name got stolen. They posted a car under my name since I had over 100+ feedback. Ebay caught it before I even knew about! Ebay is getting better and safer. But there is always some idiot low life out there trying to figure out a way.

Well I told the people $1000 is fine but anymore sounds like a scam. And when I write, I'll just come pick it up and have the money wired or bring a MO. Then I never get a email back. So then I know its not for real.
Cars if you're trying to buy...laptops if you're trying to sell! "I'll send you 3 times your asking price to overnight it to me now in exchange for a Western Union money gram!" It's like...ya, sweet deal...sign me up!!!
Some shmuck even tried to scam me out of cash when I sold my old car on Autotrader. They even went as far as sending me a fake cashier's check! It truly is unbelievable how people act nowadays.

I've had decent luck with ebay on parts but I have been real careful. I got hosed on a radio from some ***** in humble. I waited a month to get it filed a claim it then showed up only it was a wore out piece of crap and not the one in the picture. The problem is it is a clean 03 up delco radio that I am hunting and not aftermarket. Anyhow, my ideas on purchasing cars involves local or within a few hours and avoiding ebay on a purchase of that significance.
