No im so freakin worried about people being a jackass, one kid had their window knocked out. The car will be in a parking lot, in front of a HUGE window where everyone can see the car. I'll be able to see the car in my dorm at all time. I was supposed to take my car, then i decided it need a high flow oil pump, so then i was supposed to take my sisters new car ( which i dropped a grand to help her get it ) then we realized inspection, and title and registration would be a problem. So then he opened his mouth and suggested that i take his car. We flipped a coin and i won. So i have to have FULL COVERAGE ( prolly gonna rape me in cash ). So i washed it and what not ( i take better care of this thing than he does ). He's not willing to trade because he ended up paying for it twice, since he leased it for the full amount then bought it for the full amount ( 30,000 ). He's the only owner, its been retuned and he claims he's beat firehawks, and LS1 SS's. Which i can believe because somehow this SS manages to smoke cars it shouldnt be able to whip. Im very honored to be able to drive this car. Cause i would still rather take my "beast" instead of his. But i'll be watching this thing like a hawk.

Thanks for the compliments guys, one plus is that i live in a college town in the middle of arkansas with about 10K people there. Also, itsa baptist college but we still have our share of jackasses.

I never dreamed i'd be driving this car, i was 8 when i rode with him off the lot in this 30th Anniv. Thought it was the fastest car ever made, lol.

not bad at all.... although the gauges on these cars arent accurate at all...

 

I was scared to take mine to college so i took an old accord at first then went back and switched them out and havnt had too many problems here, i never really drive the car during the week cause of parking and it stay's in a covered parking garage. the only problem is washing it and ive got that down to a science now

 

Your dad's a better man than i..What an awesome car to take off to college. I'd bet alot of us older guys would love to have that car as a weekend cruiser.

Very nice car.. I do however call "BS"".. on the stock LT1 blowing away LS1's.. I have previously owned 3 LT1 cars ( 93,95 f-bod, 96 Vette) Although they were nice, and torquey... The HP was lacking when compared to my LS1.

Idiots at the lube place nearly crapped their pants when they saw it.

I've ran a few LS1's in this car and its moved pretty well. Wether or not i can take a SS LS1, WS6, and firehawk. Maybe i'll get my chance, but it scoots rather well. It's been retuned and dyno'd 356 rwhp. i'll see if i can get the dyno sheet. I've always wondered why this sucker is faster than a normal LT1. Even though its got that ram air.

356rwhp in a low modded lt1 = no way. Pretty sure even an LT4 couldn't hit that.

itsa hard top. car ran in the twelves at ennis. i was there for that. I dont know why its fast but it is. No lie. my camaro intake is red ^_^.
