Anyone get good prices on ROYAL PURPLE or Red Line?
I need to get some Royal Purple for my car, they are $6.99 ea at Oreilly's, just wanted to see if anyone gets a better price, or works at Oreillys or NAPA or wherever else they sell this. I am going 5w30. Or if someone gets good prices on Red Line id use that too.

its probably a personal thing, ive never had any probs out of it, they sell so many different types of royal purple that most people use the wrong ones and how is it going to be thinner? Royal Purple has just about the highest film strength, more strength then just about all full synthetic oils. Dont think royal would be the cause of your engine blowing, if you think its too thin, move up on weight.
