But in years past this Texans team would've let the beating of the first 3 quarters continue and lost by 30+ points.

Progress is being made slowly but surely. Our defense has played well in every game except last week in Jacksonville. Our lack of a running game is making things very difficult. All of the silly turnovers haven't helped either.

If the Texans don't make a move in the offseason to pick up a running back I will be very suprised. Matt Schaub has showed that he can be a solid QB, but we're getting into too many obvious throwing downs. Luckily for us, the WR's have done an amazing job at coming up with big catches. Once Andre Johnson is back and healthy we ought to have a pretty versatile air attack.

Our lack of production in the running game can easily be seen by our red zone effeciency. It's terrible and it's because we can't pound out the tough yardage. If we had a running game that other teams had to respect it would make our passing attack that much better.

If the Texans find somebody who can rush for 120 yards a game and give them big play possiblities I don't see any reason we can't be a playoff team next season.

I'll give the texans credit for keeping up the intensity, but the only reason it was still a game was the horrible play calling from jeff fisher. They could have rammed the ball down our throat the whole 4th quarter and kept the clock rolling, but instead he still opts to throw on 3rd and shorts. This game should have been a blowout, they scored 10 times and only 2 were td's, most of the field goals were chip shots. Texans are lucky they even stayed close.

Nice come back by the Texans, but it should have NEVER been 32-7 in the first place against the Titans with Kerry freaking Collins at QB. Hell, Vince doesn't even play and they find a way to screw up what should have been a sure W with Collins filling in, who is a terrible QB. Somehow the Texans were able to make him look like an all-pro today. Sheesh.

Halfway through the 3rd quarter they had 55 total yards on offense. Congrats.

Yeah, I couldn't figure out why the Titans weren't running the ball in the 4th quarter.

Credit the Titans D for some of that. They're the best defense against the run and the 6th best defense overall. And the Texans can't run the ball to save their lives.

I'll take any and all of action anyone wanted to wager on this. The Pats are in a league of their own this year.

Couldn't agree with you more. I can't remember because it's seems like it was so long ago, but with 81 in there Schaub looked pretty damn good. A RB is needed but Fagins is freakin killin us too. Some coverage help is a must as well. Well said (applies to Texans only. ND stuff, not so much)

Schaub has looked really good at times even without Johnson. It's going to be tough to send a WR back to the practice team when Jacoby Jones and Andre Johnson are back on the starting rosters. They have all stepped up when they needed to.

The Texans caught a lot of **** for not drafting Vince or Reggie and taking Mario, but looking back on it they've appeared to made the right decisions. Young, as predicted by most people outside of Austin, hasn't made the great NFL QB he was in college. Same story with Reggie in NO.

Williams hasn't turned out to be the hoss Houston had hoped he would have, but he's definately a talented lineman that will put up solid results now that some of our other defensive lineman are playing better.

Faggins gets picked on a lot because not a lot of teams want to throw it to Robinson's side of the field, which is understandable. It would be nice to have another shut down corner though.

The next piece seems to be a good RB and we could easily be a 10 win team.
