Tint Q
Tint Q I got my windows tinted months ago, right after them being tinted i took the car to a body shop and they did some work on the rear 1/4 panels. When i got my car back, i noticed there was A LOT of wind noise inside the car. But my GF said, "i think its always been like that." So i ignored it and decided to live with it.
Well i took the gfs beetle for tint a week ago, and now her car has a lot of air noise inside.
Has this happened to anyone?
It's obviously the tint, anyone know why it happens?
Any possible fix besides removing the tint?
It's really fucken annoying so i want to fix it.

Oh and both cars were tinted at High Tech Auto off of Fuqua, just in case anyone has had a similar problem at this place.

Make sure the seal, located inside at the top of the door panel, where the window rolls down is popped back up. They usually fold it down inside the door panel so the tint line isn't visible. Most of the time it comes back up when you roll the windows up for the first time. If this is a problem with a fixed widow then they must have damaged the weather stripping.
Thats weird we have gotten over 10 of our cars tinited there (that little place in the strip center right?) And they have always done a good job for us. Go back and talk to them. I know that my coworkers tint started to peel after and month and they redid it for him.

FWIW, I would check to make sure the door panels are on right. When I got my tint done, they left the panels slightly off so I couldn't even close the door right. I could imagine if I had drove away it would have been letting in road and wind noise.
