I'm sure he means 3 channel Abs and 4 channel Abs.
That's a lot of work if you plan on keeping the ABS working. A 3ch unit has a giant reluctor beside the diff gear and a hole cut into the pumkin for the sensor. A 4 ch has them at the wheels

Itll bolt right in, but you still wont have traction control if thats what youre trying to do.

Well in that case its simple, just like was explained above about the ABS sensors. Everything else bolts right in.

What if i dont do anything about the ABS plug... Just run the CRAP out of it... Whats the big deal with ABS i drove a ton of cars without ABS..So with that in mind, What happens when the rear ABS DOES NOT WORK..Will the front ABS still work ..I am sure the ABS light will come on but i can take care of that....Will it mess the way my car runs???

Either it works or it doesnt. So if its not plugged in, then you dont have it at all. It doesnt affect the way the car runs or brakes, you'll just be able to lock up your tires. Ive driven mine without it for the last year with no problems. The light will also be on.

If you have a 3 channel currently and want to move to the 4 channel there is more work than just dropping it in. If you want to maintain your abs functionality, you will need to do work the pumpkin and actually make your own sensor mount. If you were going from a 4ch to a 3ch its much easier. In that case you would just swap your axles and backing backing plates from the 4 to the 3. 3 to the 4 is the harder and more complicated of the two. Like said before on a 4ch the abs is 4 wheel independent meaning that the all wheels have a sensor. The 4ch sensor are located at the backing plates where the axles have reluctor rings to create a magnetic field. When one wheel turns quicker than the other it sends the signal and bam traction control is made. On a 3 channel you just have on sensor on the pumpkin to determine the speed of both wheels and nothing is independent.
