somebody else has to make a style jack like that, you could mount then in the floor and have a nice little "lift"

how high do they lift though?

I bet it is not worth it due to needing to mount a jack stand and the wheel travel drop, it would make it a pain to really get the car high for serious work.

I think it's part of a two stage thing. You use that jack to get it the wheels up where other jacks have a hard time getting under the frame. Then when this jack lifts the car up a few inches I think that's when you put the other jack under the frame.

I think its mainly just for quick lifting. My car is fairly low, and Im able to get a regular low profile jack under it. But I guess if your car was super low, you could use this to change the oil quicker or to sneak another jack under.

About the one time use thing... When it comes to harbor freight, that usually holds true. Depends on what it is. This is a steel frame, with a bottle jack, and a couple steel arms to cradle the wheel. Not much there to go wrong. I have a press from them that has done atleast rear rebuilds (bearings) and lots of other misc stuff and it still works fine.

Its such a simple product...not much to go wrong with it.

Those won't work on my car, it pushes them forward. The only way for my car to even get close to using Rhino Ramps is to butt the ramps against something that doesn't move. Even then, they'll deform and pop out, never letting me get both wheels on.

You got some superswampers on your car or what???

Your RHINO ramps must be missing the rubber pieces on the bottom of them.

I've even peeled out going up mine, lol.
<<< stock ride height
I couldn't use them for my lowered z06 though.

The base doesn't look stable enough to hold up that weight, one good shift, and you got a fucked up fender

Nope. Regular 275/40/17 Nitto 555's. The ramps did have the rubber pieces on the bottom, they didn't help. They would come off while the ramp slid across the ground. These were new ramps too.

I'm lowered a good bit, but it's not as low as a lowered Corvette.

Could it be the surface he had the Rhinos on? Slippery or too smooth?

Tried to get the ramps as close to the tires as possible. The front bumper would hit the incline of the ramp before the leading edge of the ramp touched the tire. I just think my front end is too low for Rhino ramps. No big deal though, I just use jack stands now.

I've had that problem too^^ its a pain in the ***.

they make some with a lip on the front of them though. So once you pull your car up. it kind of holds them in place, bc your tire is sitting on them. But ive never tried to use them before.
