Sounds pretty similar if not identicle..lol..I sent the dude an email saying to give me his number so I could call and verify a couple things and he hasnt wrote back yet. But then again I dont wanna scare this clown off im trying to get him to fall into a trap and get caught. And another thing, once I turn him in, the DA's or even the customs will be tracking his ip address to see were his emails are really coming from. These dumb foreigners dont realize that when using a computer, you might as well call me non *67 its the same thing. So easy to track!
Scam!! It happened to me also...of course I knew it was a scam so I told the guy to go pork himself.
He sent me a fake cashier's check and I was suppose to refund him the difference of like $4k. I gave the check to the police, sent him a nasty email and never heard back. He was from England also...not of British heritage I reckon
