What are you going with?
What amps and subs?

I'm still plenty satisfied with my old school RF Power HX-2's and a Viper 2500.1.

I am going with 2 MTX TA81001 amps (true 1800+watts each) 4 "15" Digital Design Audio subs. I have been looking around and DD is supposed to be bad ***** for shaking the earth.

What series DD's ? 500? 1500? ect? just wondering as we are a dealer for them where i work (stereo shop). With 1800 watts, I would go with 2X 3500 15's with the carbon fiber dust caps. Trust me the dust caps help a LOT. Also..... go ported on the box..... Just a little advice i can give...

Jeremy, if you want any QUALITY stuff, just lemma know what you wanna spend...DD makes very nice stuff, but I can show you nicer for the $$$.

You need to hear my car, 150+ db HURTS!!!
One of my all time favs is the RE MT sub, but those puny MTX amps won't push a MT to it's potential.

I didnt know the 7500 series came in svc, all im finding is DVC. What model do u have, what kind of amps, how is ur system setup. Its possible to change the box and configuration u have going. If your not hitting over 145 db something is wrong. I had 2 solo-baric 12's in a ranger with 600 watts per sub, and I poped the back window out, and flexed the roof and it hit 149.7 without a cap. Im just curious is all.

My truck hit 151db at 36hz with one amp on 4 mtx 15's. The box is ported and tuned for 30hz. I am going to build a new box and tune it for 32hz and peak at 38hz for the new speakers.. This is in a bed cut on a 98 full size GMC.

I've priced 2 of the L5 15" subs and a hifonics 2600 watt amp, for just under $1200.

Well I am buying Jeremy's 15's. We will see how the Yukon turns out with the MTX 810001 and the 4 7500s in a ported enclosure..
