got rearended
got rearended well i was going to help a board member/ friend with a small wiring problem on his a4 to m6 swap when someone decided it was a good day to not stop. no insurance no DL. 
bad part is driver side rear fender has a crinkle/ crumpled out. it didnt break the paint but im sure the car will need to be straightened. only the rear bumper cover was damaged. i hope this wont cost terribly much.

yeah but that wouldnt have gotten me very far. got all of his information LP, addy, id number, cell and a written statement where he admitted to causing the damage and will pay for those.
sucks! man that sucks and a side note, a buddy that lives in NY - if you let your insurance lapse the state will come and take your lic plates away no plates - better not get caught driving ! law enforcement needs to step up on this! i recently moved - what i didnt like about old house most? - it was on a cut through street i had no less than 4 cars hit and run that were parked in the street in the 20+ years i lived there well last one couldnt run -when his explorer hit my sons 78 Z28 it took his right front tire/spindle off his truck! when the neighbors woke us he was still trying to start it and drive off (inertia switch thank you)and when he opened the door the Mariachi music was blaring!! he didnt(hic) notice(hic), guess he had too much Cervesa! he had the nerve to ask why the cops were called

Once i rearended a woman that decided to switch lanes in front of me, i was moving fast, she was slow, to keep it off my record i told her i would pay cash for it. 400$ later and her taurus looked new. 500$ later my camaro was back on track.
