Well i kinda skimmed through this amazingly long thread about pretty much nothing....im not sure whats going on.
So a 414ci 550rwhp f-body, pulled on a twin screw 03/04 cobra? the camaro wasnt spraying, ok, so does the camaro have any weight reduction done?
I read something about only boosting 16psi on the KB/whipple? the 2.8L KB on my car is making 571rwhp @ 15psi right now. the pulley setup is wrong, and the blower isnt making boost. (we are shooting for 20psi) Usually people run 17-21psi on the stock bottom end.
In order for this cobra to make the "claimed" 625rwhp, it should be making at least 19psi, probably more.
Besides a bad cobra driver or the camaro was on a big diet, not really sure how a 625rwhp cobra would get pulled by a camaro with 75 less hp.![Icon Confused](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_confused.gif)
good kill regardless

the race was pretty even every time (Camaro started ahead plus jumped the honks), and the Camaro does weigh 300 pounds less
the outcome seems about right, especially since the driver probably isn't great
stroked LS1's are fast

who are you talking to? I did mention the possiblity of a bad driver in the cobra.
have you ever seen a dyno graph of a KB/Whipple cobra? they arent peak numbers.... are you suggesting cobras are dyno queens
? They generally have a very nice power curve, and they come on very strong on the street.

When did i "seem to think" stroked f-bodies were slow?
...you seem to think kb/whipple cobras are dyno queens

and by the way, ive owned an LS1 and now a Cobra. I have respect for both cars. Calm down.

F-bods with 50-75 less whp beat termis all the time, nothing unusual going on here. If the guy in the cobra was a poor driver then he would have got drug bad, btw this thread is full of useless info.

Jeeeeezzz, alot of angry people... I take jeremy's car hands down over that cobra any day. And I am even a Cobra fan ( COUGH COUGH
)
dear god forgive for I have sinned.
I will go out to my garage and tell my WS-6 I am sorry for my blasphemy
Jeremy is just a far superior driver and doesnt need to wait to get blowed
before his power kicks in.![Locked ...](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/lockd.gif)
