Jester is very old, ugly, and has a really bad smell that you have to get use to. San Jacinto is a fairly new dorm w/ new furniture. One good thing about Jester is the food selection and it was really easy to sneak drunk girls or girls who lived in other dorms in.

Jester is the oldest dorms there. Try and get San Jac as they are very nice.

Can not go wrong. If you must be staying at them, you will still have a good time in either Jester East or West.

Jester East > Jester West!!!!!!

Jester West here...closing in on a decade ago. I didn't mind it, but like others said, San Jac is much newer and nicer. Jester is an alright place to live I guess with several options for eating and it is a little more central to more buildings on campus, which equals a little less walking, especially up the damn hill on 21st St. Check them both out and make your decision from there. It's not that hard to sneak girls into either, as long as you're creative.

Ditto! I stayed in East on the first floor (connecting bath) and I enjoyed it.
After 12 all guests must leave I think. The only way to get into the halls is to scan in your id at a little station with a RA. I lived right next to the stairwell so I would just go let people in after I got inside. We had guests over frequently with no complaints. Our RA was a chick and she rarely came to our side of the floor.

Can't go wrong either way. It was a good experience and i'm glad I did it.

+1 for sneaking people in through the stairwell. I hated doing it though because I lived on the 10th floor.

East or West, not really much of a difference.

Jester East right here.

I loved it. Co-ed floors, met a **** load of people, and definitely a huge part of college life.

To compare San Jac and Jester East.... 99% of the RA's are 9809845 times more lenient bc Jester is old... so when you come home hammered and **** **** up at jester it isn't really a big deal.

@ San Jac you have to make sure everything is pristine and doesn't get fucked up bc they will charge you an arm and a leg. It is nice and all but I wouldn't want to live there... I enjoyed Jester.
