Wired up the LS1, started it for the first time!
Wired up the LS1, started it for the first time! Finally! After alot of studying and patience, I wired up my LS1 in the 96, started it up, and it ran for a couple of seconds before dying, gauges are working and had good oil pressure. The main reason it died is because I didnt have my throttle cable connected so couldnt give it gas. Otherwise good news, never thought that I could wire anything, I dont like electrical ****. The car did pop and backfire a couple times but I will see why it was doing that. Thanks for anyone who helped me. Should be ready to go after a few small tweaks and a tune.

Let us know if you get a write up on this sometime. Im thinking of going LS1 instead of carbed this time on my T/A but Im kinda nervous about all the little details. What kind of little odds and ends did you have to get to make it work?
