Now there's something we can agree on.

Speaking of John Mackovic...
Having played for him, I can say M, that you hit the nail on the head. While he was a good coach, I think his main downfall was that he never really seemed to grasp the whole UT Football mentality. It was more about being a football coach than being the coach of The University of Texas Longhorns. Mack Brown certainly seems to get it. I guess it's a southern thing???

Slow, I'm looking at it like this. Texas is playing their best football of the season right now. A&M has lost four out of five and it appears they've quit on Franny. Add to it the fact the Horns are pissed about the cheap shot and heckling of Colt from last year is why I think they'll be very focused. Also keep in mind that Texas plays before OSU/OU and Texas has to win to have a shot at the Big 12 title game and still a has potential at large BCS bowl bid if they win out. Texas has much more to play for than a deflated A&M team.
I'm surprised the line is only Texas -5 1/2. I would have thought it would be between -7 1/2 & -10. I think Texas will cover this easily.

It should be a good game, both teams kinda stayed on the opposite spectrum this season. Ags played great at the begining of the season and was 1st in the big 12 south for a few weeks, but quickly went down the drain with the fans confidence of Fran. But the horns started out in the crapper and pulled it out pretty well turning this into a not so bad season for them. If ags can pull their act together, horns will have a fight on their hands and it should be a good game, but if either team slacks, then it will be pretty one sided.

ah all that cheap shot bs is just that...bs. I was at that game, yeah he hit em and clearly shouldnt have, but you should have seen the raping he got on the sidelines by coaches and players alike, not to mention all the fans yelling at him. ags definitely dont condone unsportsmanlike conduct and cheap shots like that.

Sure the Ags "played great at the beginning of the season". They played a bunch of cupcakes early on! Look what happened to them when they got into the meat of their schedule - they became a .500 team and will finish fifth out of sixth teams in the South. Trust me, Texas will be ready to play tomorrow!

It damn sure was a cheap shot. Colt was unbuckling his chin strap and walking off of the field and the play was over and he got blindsided. Then you have all of these "classy aggies" making fun of an injured player, calling him names like "Cart and McCry".
Believe me, Colt and the rest of the Longhorns remeber that BS and it will be on their minds tomorrow.
