Motor Swap and Elec...

The motor in my 98 is toast... I have a buddy with a 99ss motor..I know they have different elec. systems . Does that mean i have to change all the sensors??? And are the cam profiles different from 98 to 99ss???

I dont think the harnesses are different, your 98 should plug right up I think. I know the ECU's are different, not the whole system. Get this in a tech section, probably have your answers in an hour.

Just get the 99 pcm also. Then we will be able to play with the tune on Hp tuners since marshall has and unlimited for that year. When we going to do the swap?
