Wouldn't bother me if gas was $10 a gallon. My girlfriend has her parent's gas card and her parents let her fill up my car like every 2 weeks or so. What can I say.. They like me . I work less then 2 miles from my house so I don't waste much gas either. Little do they know, next time I'm going to fill up my F350 along with the 60 gallon aux. tank in the bed . Haha.. I won't be able to do that to them... Lol.

Got me a nice 1990 Acura Integra which is great on gas mileage, got 240k on the speedo and still pulls 28+mpg in the city $$$. As far as the Iroc-Z is concerned, im pretty sure i'd leave it a weekend warrior lol.

Blah. Gas was $4/gallon in Europe back in 2000, or possibly even earlier. We are just spoiled.

1. Life is too short to drive a boring vehicle.

2. If you park your performance car and buy an economy car in addition to it, you are going to shell out more money total. Yeah, you save a few bucks in gas but the insurance, upkeep, and depreciation on a lame *** Civic or whatever will greatly outweigh the value of the fuel savings. It's an idea for people who are bad at math.

well my dads 30th gets very good gas mileage, about 18 city and well over 25 highway. My "ol' Betty" though.....i think i'll never stop driving her, even if i've got more in her than she's worth. There's something different about f-body owners. We love our cars more than the average person and i think that gas isnt gonna make us stop driving our cars.

Also, i always put premium in my car ^_^

Yup.. That's why I'm either in My F350 (9mpg city) or my Firehawk. I don't even pay attention to the price of gas. I just go and fill up whenever I'm running low. I hate hearing people with 4 bangers complain about gas prices. Bitch, get a ******' scooter! Lol.. Your already driving a ricer, what better gas mileage do you want lol.

Well, my LS1 blew yesterday. That sucks. I'm putting the 455 back into the 80 Trans Am to drive daily, but will likely ride the bike a lot more! At least I can use the leather riding jacket, finally!! I need to figure out what broke in the motor. I know I need at least a block.

Yeah still have the Grand Prix, it is for sale though!! Patrick, you are more then welcome to the Contour, lol. I do not think you would want it, but if you do, $1500 takes it, lol. Just put a motor in it (no lie) but had a wire fire . Harness is being replaced as we speak.--Tony

Yes.

I've partked it since premium went to $3.30/gallon.

It was only getting 14MPG after the cam and I drive 50 miles/day.

So, not false economy to me, double edged sword:

1. Parking it keeps miles off the Car
2. Cheaper to run my DD!

I do drive it at least once a week tho!
