nice! i pretty much figured it was a scam, but also wanted to make an example out of him, to show everyone what kinda stuff people will try to pull. Something like this, on a way smaller level, happend to me about 2 years ago with a ebay purchase.

Spoke with this jackass a few minutes ago ..... everything was great, the car was located in Italy, just wire transfer $3,200.00 and I'll ship it .... no problems at all.
The conversation took an interesting turn at about this point ......
Me: Just one more question .... how do you plan on selling a car that you don't own?
Him: What?
Me: Yeah, could be a problem. You see ... I'm the General Manager of the company that built that car originally and sold it to a customer here in Texas about 2 weeks ago .... so can you explain how you're planning on selling this car to me again? Or why you're using my photos and trying to steal people's money?
At this point, he literally flips out, tells me he posted the wrong photos, he has many cars and must have gotten them confused, then he talked about "blackmail" .... lost me at that point as the mixture of broken english and bad italian was getting overwhelming - then (surprise, surprise) he hung up on me.
So, just in case your bored and feel like telling someone how you feel about scammers ...........
He's got a US number ....... (so no international charges!)
And it's ..............
(646) 530-8770
Give him a call! I'm sure he'd love to hear from you

Well freeman - just goes to show yet again - if something looks too good to be true.... you know the rest. The car would've LITERALLY been a steal @ that price.
Poolfanatic - what's your real name? Just curious cuz I've been doing biz with you guys forever.
