Ya I would like to race on of those too...I know we all hate mag racers but 2 magazines did this already The best they could do is the Denali was 14.8 If i remember correctly. They talked about how it had more power than the Tundra but couldn't back it up

Hey, I tell ya what, you just worry about keeping headgaskets on that 6.0 and also enjoy your 12 mpg. I dont live anywhere near Houston so sing away..Im not coming to race you and Ford's worst mistake ever...the 6.0. No need for further discussion.

I've got a friend with a bone stock 2004 Silverado VHO who lives in Pearland right off 288. He'd race you for fun. He doesn't give a crap...win or lose.
edit:
My bad. He has a Magnaflow muffler welded in.
I'd race ya in my mustang since you claimed to have taken out an LS2 GTO.

Im glad you are happy with your economic and powerful truck so I apologize for making a generalization that included it. My response was originally about Tundras so please keep it on topic or start a new thread attacking the Cummins.

Dont hate on the tundra thats a bad bitch for a gas burner. you say the look like *** but look at the gmc and tell if they dont look like fraternal twins. I love chevy But look at the facts the tundra is a better than the garbage chevys has been putting out. Personally for the price i wouldnt own any gas burner when you can get a deisel for 4 to 6 grand more

I dont think anyone gives a flying **** about your WildbillhaswildsexwithhisTundra (isnt that your screenname?) stories! Post these kinds of tales in the Street Racing forum. Ok, a modded 6.0 beat your Tundra....is that all? If it outran a funny car, I still dont want one because they look like *** so refrain from wasting bandwidth to crow about it getting beat. Sorry, I had just seen too many Tundra threads or replies.

From the specs I found, your double cab Tundra weighs almost exactly the same as my crew cab Rado. Unless GM is significantly underrating the 6.0, I would expect the Tundra to have the edge since you have much better gearing.

If you have a problem with this tundra thread then why did you even bother coming in? Some people are just ignorant and need to get a life, im so glad im not like that anymore cause looking at these people who make an *** out of themselves just shows how low and immature someone can be. So if you dont have anything good to say then keep your *** out this thread. PERIOD

Vortec Max trucks aren't fast in stock form. They're slow as **** off the line. We had a V-Max 2WD crew w/ 3.73's and 20's and it was slow as hell. Try racing a 2WD Sierra Denali with the 6.2. Those things will walk a Tundra.

Shotgun cab short bed Tundras can hit a 13.9, but that's every once in a BLUE *** moon. I doubt your heavier ex cab is going to do any better than a mid 14. Putting it in slow *** 98 GT territory. Sounds like you got sold by the gimmicks bill, cause that truck isn't impressing when you think of the fact that the frame will twist like a stick of liquorish once loaded up. To me racing a stock truck is retarded anyway, show me a truck that can haul something and I'll be impressed. That's why Diesels are so popular, they can haul, and haul ***.

The Tundra is a nice truck but the quality is NO better than a Chevy, Toyota has hyped the truck up to more than it really is. It has a good turning radius and good acceleration but nothing else. The Chevy rides better, brakes better, and is cheaper to mod, the Tundras are also drastically overpriced. I worked for Toyota for a long time and over the past few years I have seen the quality drop ALOT, the Tundra isnt changing ****. Bill prolly ran into a poorly setup truck, besides nobody cares about 14 sec vehicles racing.
