then why do they talk so much ****? And thats another thing. IMO It def looks better than all the other trucks to. I didnt buy the truck cause its faster. I bought it cause it rides better, better mpg, has more room, and it will sure as hell actually be worth something in 5 years. Not like the american trucks who cant hold there value.

They are only talking **** because:

1. This is a GM site. Imagine that, the majority dislike rice-burner vehicles.
2. You talk **** and act like your Tundra is the center of the universe.

IMO It def looks better than all the other trucks to.
Coming from a guy that was recently daily-driving a front-wheel-drive chick car, and was contemplating various other chick vehicles, I'd say your opinions on appearance are flawed anyways.

I only do after they do. Ohh and also please show me where Ive acted like the tundra is the center of the universe.

You missed my point. Some people have different opinions on style. Some prefer Ford's styling...some prefer Chevy's styling...some prefer Dodge. Most truck buyers base their decision to buy a certain truck on styling before 1/4 performance.

Edited to avoid any further bullshit.

The only thing that I dislike about the new Tundra is the different colors in the interior. It would have looked better if they had kept all the pieces one color. I think the front end looked funny but my dad put a billet grill on his and it changed the way that it looked.

Ross, you really need to come ride in dad's and get a feel for the truck in person before judging so quickly. The rear window rolls down like the Avalanches do and its nice sitting in the back seat having an additional foot of leg space over the rear of my Tahoe while leaning back and watching movies.

Randy,

I'm not even knocking the Tundra. I think they are pretty nice. I'm knocking Wild Bill because he's being a horse's behind.

Yes, you previously owned two LS1 f-bodies. Congrats. But, ever since then you have been on a downward spiral of estrogen powered beauties. Remember shopping for the cute 'lil CLK Mercedes when you had the Acura? What you had doesn't really matter if you go downhill. Does a transvestite that has his weiner cut off still get to keep his man card?

Oh, the recent memories of your Acura:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/texas-members/574894-i-already-miss-having-ls1.html

I miss my V8!

Sorry, but I still think the Tundra is the softer, sweeter version of a fullsize pickup. Its all roundy-round, bubbly and smooth and cuuuuuute like a pug!

Hey Bill I had a 72 chevy that ran 12.90s and looked better than your truck ever could, oh it had a/c and got 15-18mpg too! The best thing is it only cost me 9k to build the whole truck, your truck cost about 35k right? Wheres the value there Bill? Quit believing everything the salesmen tell you, I worked in the car business for a long time and everything you say is exactly what all the retarted Toyota salesmen would say. Also be realistic, your truck doesnt average any better mpg than a Chevy does, window stickers dont always tell the truth.

Wow, this thread lived this long?
I don't care if it has a v8, I'm not splitting hairs - it's a large rice burner.
If it looked nice i might be on board, but that is FUGLY, the titan looks better if we are talking foreign trucks. I still hate the styling of either, period.

A quad cab, diesel, dually Chevy = awsome truck.
A 1989 Firebird formy 350, cammed 6.0L, 3.73's = 1/4 mile fun

Let's get it right.

Haven't you and I been through this before?

Better mpg? Than what? The 5.7 is rated the same city and 1mpg WORSE highway than my VortecMax. I know you like to compare performance to the 5.3, but that engine gets much better mpg the the Tundra 5.7

More room? Maybe on the CrewMax, but didn't you buy the double cab? The double cab is comparable to the Dodge Quadcab, larger the a traditional extended cab, but smaller than a crew cab. Where's your point?

I went through the depreciation excercise last time. According to edmunds.com #s, both trucks depreciated the exact same % over the first 3 years. I understand bashing chevy cars for their resale, but Chevy truck do pretty good on resale.
