Default Clutch Kit/Slave Cylinder Installation. How Much Am I Looking At?

I plan on ordering my clutch kit, slave shim and my slave cylinder Monday morning. How much am I looking at for installation? I just want a ballpark figure. Not really wanting to get an exact price. Just wanna know what I'll be looking at spending at a transmission shop. My Dad is being a little girl and really doesn't wanna help me install everything so I'm just gonna have someone else do it. Thanks for the help.

Anyone who's done it before could probably get it done in 2-3 hours.

Judging from average shop rates you can look at spending 200-400 dollars, depending how badass they think they are.

Honestly, its an easy job. Plenty of write-ups have been done on it! Give it a shot!

Ha. Yeah. I don't think it's a good idea to let an 18 yr. old with no transmission knowledge try and replace a clutch. I'm sure if I just keep asking me Dad, I'm more then sure I can talk him into it.

WE are running a killer clutch special right now. If you supply the parts we charge 300.00 to install.

I blew up my first clutch at the track, just in time for my 15th birthday.

The same week I was on my back in the driveway changing it out.

Just saying!

Damn. Back when I was 15 I was into 4x4's. Had a Tacoma, 4Runner then a Z71. My Dad is the one who got me into racing. Ended up selling the Z71 to get a Z28. Sold that, got me a T/A.. Then ended up with a Firehawk .
