I usually just mark where the valve stem was on the tire and no need to rebalance although on sports cars I usually do.

if we break down a tire that has a dynamic balance we rebalance it
we will mark the valve stem on alloy ballances though just because they can be a pain sometimes

and wal-marts tire department is a joke, we get crap all the time coming in with there mistakes.

Hello NTB employee,
Please tell you manager that he needs to lower his prices on battery's and the super high install prices since I sent my girlfriend to you all to get one in her car. Yall can take that $128.00 and shove it up your ******* ***.

I'd have to agree that patching a drag radial isnt a good idea. I'm sure someone out there could really break it down and give a solid yes/no to it's safety, but I wouldnt feel comfortable with it.

It's the same way you're not supposed to have more than 3 patches on a regular radial tire. You've got to understand the process of patching the tire, they'll drill the hole out, then grind material off the inside so that the patch will adhere to the tire. The whole thing makes the tire weaker, on an already soft compound. Not to mention you're most likely hitting high (120+) speeds. Do you really want a blow out going 140 because you just wanted to be a broke ***? hahaha, just throw your street tires on until the new tire comes in or you can afford it
