If's thats DPS (black and white) I would be surprised if they did. Those guys are brutal and usually dont let you get away with anything! I dont see green/white galveston colors so the assumption would be DPS. I dont fret too much with any of the other departments, I still have respect for them, however, it's those black and whities that seem to always spring a chill down my back.

Cool

As of Sunday December 9th 2007 the Northlake PD still had the LS1 Camaro, as well as a juiced Hemi Charger. The Charger pulled over a GSX600 the other day.

Grapevine, TX aslo has a LS1 Camaro that likes to pick races at night. He comes from the top of the hill and pulls right on your tail pumping the gas. Making his front end jump up and down. He likes to see if you will gun it. If you do he pops you.

Bedford, TX is also in the process of getting a seized LS1 Vette regestered as a police interceptor. Which should make things a little more interesting.

So they would pic a race, then pull you over... It was funny for a while.
They ended up losing alot of those cases because of them instigating things..
Some guy video taped the cop screwing with him on the highway, and that started big ol stink, and got all those cops in trouble. They then had to put the police license plates on the cars, and have some kind of marking.

yeah....that's called "entrapment". you can get those tickets dropped pretty easily, just state that you thought they were some crazy bastard that you felt was endangering your life with their reckless driving, and you were just trying to get away from them.

Is that Camaro a marked car or just black or something? Either way that is totally illegal, entrapment, and you are also not allowed to use unmarked cars for routine traffic stops, and catching races at night is routine.

Texas DPS camaros arent unmarked if you look closely you can see where it says TROOPER on the front fender. I was with a buddy when he got pulled over in Alvarado going south and the camaro was going north. He pulled that thing through the median. I was rather impressed.
