LT1 or LS1

Can't put it any easier Patrick. Girls have no ******' idea whether it's a ****** 11 sec., 12 sec. or a ******* 18 sec. car. As long as the car is nice and sounds good.. They're all over that ****. I know how these things works. My previous LT1's got the job done ('95 Z28 and '96T/A). Oh did those car's get some chicks to flash me down at the coast during spring break. T-tops help out alot also lol.

Heres the deal LS1 is a lil more powerful from the factory than an LT1 and responds a lil better to mods that is just a given and even us LTX guys know thats the truth.
But.....
LT1 bodies>LS1 bodies
T-tops on a badass street/strip car= In my opinion not everyones
If you roll up in a badass mean sounding LS1 everyone will normally think hey this kid went out and financed a nice hot rod.
Ifyou roll up in a badass mean LT1 everyone will normally think hey this man knows how to work on cars.
You can spend less money on an LTX car and outrun 75% of LS1's. My LT4 sill outrun most cammed LS cars.
Also you do not see very many clean LT cars on the road .
I would take my time on finding a nice low mileage LT car thats been taken care of and garage kept for around 10 g's spend the extra cash in the long run it will def be worth it.
Mike 96z has the best of both worlds in my opinion. LTX body with a LS1 engine.
Smart

That's exactly what I wanted to do but my Dad told me it would be way easier to just buy an LS1 f-body. Every damn '93-'97 f-body that I will find that would have an LSX conversion in it would be priced well over $8000. I figured there was no point but to just buy a '98+ LSX f-body.

to me the LT1 camaro looks better. but the LS1 does have more potential. But both are can be made very fast. Considering Big Rick runs 8.08 in his LT1. so i think there is plenty of potential in both .

When I see an LT1 car roll up, I think "uninformed buyer".
However, I do agree that LT1 Camaros look better than LS1 Camaros, but the LS1 Firebirds look better than LT1 Firebirds.

My brother had a 1995 Trans am. I was out there everytime it had a problem. I was out there when they installed the headers. Now that was a bitch to do. We had to replace the opti spark twice and redo the spark plugs/wires 3 times. I hated working on it but it was worth it in the long run.So i know a thing or two about the LT1's and yet i am willing to work on my future ls1/lt1 if anything happends to it..
