There are people killing people, like that girl that stabbed that guy in a fight in a park. Got off with probation. So WTF? So all these people ragging on this guy need to let it go!! Oh. I get it. Its cause he is a celeberity thats why you all are riding him. This happens everyday everywhere. Is it good no, do i advise to do it no. But where you affectted by it? NO!!!!
The sad part is that alot of people have more concern/feeling for animals than they do for their fellow man. It was definitely wrong to do what Vick did, but I've seen more uproar for his actions compared to people getting attacked/killed(including children). People really do need to get a grip and look out for other PEOPLE being harmed vs trying to treat animals as if they are on the same level as human beings.

The reason his punishment is as "harsh" as it is, is due not only to the crime he committed, but the fact that he lied about it, tried to hide it, and then after being offered a plea deal for his cooperation and promises that he would make better decisions, he ran off and messed it all up. Weeks after promising the judge he would be a good boy he tests positive for pot, and then fails a lie detector test (not like its admisable) concerning his role in the dog fighting. I think the time he got is plenty coupled with the fact that he was the highest paid player in the NFL, and just lost over 140 million dollars worth of salary and endorsements.
As far as a return to the NFL, some team Raiders cough cough, will take a chance on him, and bring him back.

Well for people who actually own dogs, we have a more higher compassion for them since we know no matter how shitty of a day we have had, we know we can always have a dog that is happy no matter what.
And there is a difference between seeing a human get murdered vs a dog. Most people have a way to defend themselves. Sure, its definitely sad when you see a mad man run into a mall of unsuspecting people and murder them without a cause. But when you see a dog that has been chained up its entire life, no way to escape, and then tortured to death, it strikes a nerve with most animal people

I only wish they'd have done the same thing to him that he did to his victims. Then I'd be happy. Guess being an animal person who has owned APBTs and still has one, it makes me sick at my stomach to see a POS like him. My dogs get a bad rap because of what this idiot and others just like him have done. He should have been drowned, electrocuted and beat to death just the way he killed those dogs if it was up to me. Then I'd take a nice big **** on his grave.

He has a strong arm and is a tremendous athlete, but his accuracy and decision making is ****. By the time he gets out of prison it'll be late summer '09, so scratch playing that year. By the 2010 season he would have been out of the NFL (and football entirely) for 3 years, and will be approaching 31yrs old. He won't have the athleticism he once had, and that's the only thing that carried him through in the NFL. IMO, he's finished.

I 2nd that notion... I have personally gathered up the boyz and went and fucked up a guy who I seen hitting his dog in his yard...

I know you were giving your 2 cents... NO dont think PETA is doing a good job, they are killing people and blowing **** up.... Clue of life, yes have good grasp on it thanks... A child molestor getting less time then a 1 1/2 year sentence.. Have not heard of that... But I have seen rapist and killers getting around 4 or 5.. Still more then 1 1/2..
