Which should I get? Pioneer 6.5" 2-way Speakers, TS-G1641R
JVC 6.5" 3-Way Speakers, CSV-625
At Walmart. They're like $30-40.
I can get some stock speakers for free, but aren't they just going to eventually blow anyway?

my buddies passenger door speaker blew so he picked up some of the jvc's at walmart. we put in the passenger one and it was horrible. i mean i couldnt believe how bad it was. you most defineatly get what you pay for. dont do it. we talked to someone about it and they said that our speakers are like dual coil over or something like that. cuz our speaker have 4 wires running to them and you can only hook up 2 to the jvc. i really dont know too much about it. i just know they sucked horribly. so he got his money back.

If you go with anything from wal-mart you will need to play with the 4 wires till you get the 2 that work. I did this in my 99. I have 2 pioneer and 2 kicker. The pioneer are the better of the two that I have. But you just have to play with it. I have a convertible and it still took 4 hours to do all 4 speakers. So just have a little patients and things will work out.

I really -don't- trust anything that cheap, especially from walmart. Don't touch anyone at that place, you'll probably get an std from the walmart shoppers

i went to car toys and bought the cheapest pair they had for $20 and they sound better than the sony 6x9's my girlfriend paid $60 for. just make sure they are a 4ohm speaker, atleast i think thats what the stocks were
