Default question someone help please?

has anyone put a torquer v.2 cam in a ls7 zo6 motor? or would you just leave the stock cam that comes with it! buddy wants to know and i dont want to shoot him the wrong way!

well hers the deal he blew up his motor and has a deal on a ls7 motor but has a torquer cam v.2 and wants to know if he should change it out or not???? or if he does go bigger then what should he go to, this is just his weekend car and he will be spraying a 100 dry shot and has a 3600 stall! 3:73s and lt headers!

i would change it because those heads flow way different so you would need a cam that caters more towards it.

ok so would a torquer cam be better or stock cam in a ls7?

The cams you asking about were designed more for the LS1-LS6 346 power plants. Even for a 408, most off the shelf cams you find aren't going to be the best fit for the larger, better breathing engines IMO. Search for Patrick G and in his profile he has a form to file out and he can spec out a custom cam for that LS7 motor to accomplish whatever it is that you guys want out of a cam.

stick with the stock cam then get a custom gring!!
