Default Just my luck!

My brother is out of the coutry visiting my parents who live in London on business. His roomate borrowed his car (RX8) and got in an accident in Dallas. He was getting on I-35 and it was raining. He spun out and was hit by a realtor in a Lexus. I told my brother that sucks sorry his car got recked and found out I am responisble to fix both cars. Now how the FCK is this possible you ask?? His friends insurance will not pay to fix the cars. It seems that the cars are insured not the driver. Because my brother is on my policy I have to pay to rectify this situation. This is the biggest bunch of bull I have ever encountered. Sure enough I call my agent and he confirms. I feel like beeting someone with a baseball bat!

Note to self, no one drives any of my cars!
Rant Over

My insurance covers me in any car I am driving....and covers my car no matter who is driving.

Either way I am covered.

Hate to hear you are getting the shaft on this...but at least the driver should be responsible for the deductible

Well I had a 0 deductible for good driving but that is out the window after this. What pisses me off is it is going to increase my premiums!

I would be making them pay the increased premiums or keep the RX8 until they pay up.
