I would fully agree with Mellow here. I dont see any rivalries from my side. But we dont want people trying to join both. If you are gonna join a car club, you are going to so you can be dedicated to the club you are in.

Not flipping back and forth between them. That will cause issues and bullshit.
We dont need any of that kind of crap.
Zach is a great guy, so I dont want you over here being like I want to join, but being over there with Zach saying you want to join.

I personally still know some of those guys with Zach and them. I will still head over there and hang. I have some party peeps in the area.

I am putting this together over here on my side of town. Makes things much easier, and I have been planning on doing something like this for a while.
I have other personal buddies that are involved here also. That is why I didnt be a part of Lone Star.

I put some **** in there not meaning for it to get online. I brought the wrong files to my buddies house where I uploaded them.. Now that I am back online.

I know.. after I worked on this stupid thing for like 6 hours..
I couldnt find my own mistakes and what not. LOL.... after I put it up, 3 guys
called me and was like.. um. hey..
So yes. the videos page is being built today.

I have already fixed alot of the problems.... Just need to upload to site.

I will be makeing a general user name password to upload videos. Videos page will not be made in flash.. probably frontpage.. something basic so the uploading can be done easy....

I do not understand why we cannot have ONE LARGE CLUB! This is getting too complicated. What happened to DAPA or NTFBA? They had good get-to-gethers and were FREE I think! It is good to be an individual, but this could be frustrating for a new F-Body owner who just wants to get to know people but be non-committed.

I am with you... DAPA and NTFBA i believe are both still around..
They just dont do too many meets and what not... I run with some guys who we like to get to the track as much as possible...
But there are alot of people that dont like the track, and only like street racing, or vice versa... I am down for whatever.

I have not found any meets in like 6 months for TXFBA.
TXFBA has a yearly fee of 20 bucks.

I am not getting this club running so we can be different from other fbods.
We are all going to be in the same boat of liking to hang out with other fbods.
We are planning on still hanging out with other clubs around town...

But what I am doing is putting together a little something for people who want to run and hang out with us, they are more then welcome to. No charge.
I am not charging in this club because I put the money up for the logo, website, my time to get things going. I wanted to do this just because i had been wanting to.
Plus there are not any other clubs currently that have race days.. well at least from what I have found...
If there is please inform me...

as for the committed part.. the most committing I am looking for is if you want to be a part of the club, stick a decal somewhere on the car, and if someone asks if you are a part of a club, say ballisticspeed.

Just putting together a group of people who like to hit the track, and do some meets, and some charity runs.. probably a car show or 2, as a group of us. that being ballisticspeed.com

Plus I liked the ballisticspeed name...
so I got it as the club name.

and also for the meets.. you will not have to be a member to get out there and hang with us...

****, I have a few buddies who will go hang out, but dont want to be involved...
to each their own, but they will still go hang out and get together on the meets, and race days... etc....

So there has been some of us talking about the club....
What we are going to do is not call it a car club.. Everyone will know we are a car club.
Or an organization of sort...
So what we are going to do is label us as..

Ballistic Speed Racing...

Just sounds better and all the logo stuff, and names look much better this way...
Its good I didnt get a webpage called ballisticspeedcarclub.com
but I will have the racing part going up all pointing to our web page..
